Overview of the SMS Counseling Program:
Sweetwater Middle School counselors provide services through individual counseling, small group counseling, core curriculum, and parent and teacher consultation. Additionally, the counselors coordinate school-wide programs designed to enhance student success and encourage family involvement in the learning process. We aim to support each of our students with relevant, data-driven interventions in academic, social-emotional and career development.

To help ensure that they are prepared to become the next generation of parents, workers, leaders and citizens, every student needs support, guidance and opportunities during adolescence, a time of rapid growth and change.
